Overview

Our adult language courses are taught using a dynamic and interactive learning style, encouraging you to actively participate in classroom discussions on diverse themes, group exercises, debates and role play activity.
This methodology allows you plenty of opportunity to apply your newly acquired Spanish communication skills, helping you build your confidence in the language.
Intensive Spanish course aims to equip professionals to confidently present, network and liaise across a range of media, with external stakeholders in internationalised settings where Spanish is the language of communication. Our specialist team of trainers employ a collaborative approach to course delivery, utilising pre-arrival questionnaires and needs analyses to adapt the course in ways that will maximise outcomes for participants.

Learning outcomes

  • develop language skills suitable for making presentations in Spanish.

Programme

Day 1 (Monday):

  • 9:00am-10:00am: Introduction to the Spanish language: Alphabet, pronunciation, and basic phrases
  • 10:00am-11:00am: Greetings and introductions
  • 11:00am-11:15am: Break
  • 11:15am-12:00pm: Numbers, dates, and telling time
  • 12:00pm-1:00pm: Basic vocabulary for daily activities

Day 2 (Tuesday):

  • 9:00am-10:00am: Grammar basics: Nouns, verbs, and adjectives
  • 10:00am-11:00am: Common Spanish verbs and their conjugations
  • 11:00am-11:15am: Break
  • 11:15am-12:00pm: Talking about likes and dislikes
  • 12:00pm-1:00pm: Describing people and things

Day 3 (Wednesday):

  • 9:00am-10:00am: Introduction to basic sentence structure
  • 10:00am-11:00am: Asking and answering simple questions
  • 11:00am-11:15am: Break
  • 11:15am-12:00pm: Ordering food and drinks in Spanish
  • 12:00pm-1:00pm: Discussing hobbies and interests

Day 4 (Thursday):

  • 9:00am-10:00am: Talking about the past: Introduction to past tenses
  • 10:00am-11:00am: Basic travel vocabulary and phrases
  • 11:00am-11:15am: Break
  • 11:15am-12:00pm: Giving directions and asking for help
  • 12:00pm-1:00pm: Shopping vocabulary and basic conversation in stores

Day 5 (Friday):

  • 9:00am-10:00am: Introduction to Spanish culture and customs
  • 10:00am-11:00am: Review of key concepts and vocabulary
  • 11:00am-11:15am: Break
  • 11:15am-12:00pm: Conversation practice and role-playing
  • 12:00pm-1:00pm: Final assessment and wrap-up of the course

Note: The program is just a draft and can be modified based on the needs and preferences of the participants and the instructor. The pace of the lessons can be adjusted to accommodate different levels of language proficiency, and additional topics can be added if necessary.

Certificate

Certificate of attendance, including a description of the course content; Europass certificates on request.

PRICE: 480 euros

SCHEDULE: classes can take place in the Morning (9:00 – 13:00) or afternoon (15.00 – 19.00).

COURSE PROGRAM AND VENUE: The definite schedule will be sent to the participants approximately 3 weeks before the course.

Any changes to the course are at the instructor’s discretion.
